PILKINGTON ACTIV SELF-CLEANING

The special coating on this glass means that frequently cleaning your windows is no longer necessary. Pilkington Activ is clearer than ordinary float glass during and after rainfall as the rainwater simply disperses when it hits the glass. The hydrophilic coating breaks down and loosens the dirt which allows it to be washed away by rainwater or a hosepipe during drier periods.

PILKINGTON ACTIV BLUE

This solar-control self-cleaning glass is ideal for roof units. It uses the same dual-action self cleaning properties as Pilkington Activ but also benefits from a blue tint helping to keep internal temperatures cool while not effecting light transmission. This makes it perfect for those hard to reach conservatory roofs. The glass uses daylight and rainwater to break down and wash away dirt from the exterior of the glass. During dry spells the glass can be easily cleaned by hosing it down.

PILKINGTON ACTIV NEUTRAL SOLAR CONTROL

This glass works in the same way as Pilkington Activ Blue except it is made up of attractive neutral coloured glass. The Neutral appearance in transmission and reflection make it ideal for both conservatory roofs and the vertical conservatory walls.
